Social Services

The Salvation Army provides social services to individuals and families who find themselves without the basic necessities for survival. In Winnebago County, year-round services provide food pantry assistance, utility assistance, domestic violence counseling, employment resources, fire/crisis resources, and case management/referrals. Other programs and services available throughout the county and Rockford include Pathway to Hope, Friday Night Patrol, Women’s Restorative Justice Program (WRJP), After School Programming and Summer Day Camp, and a Teen Center.

Our Social Services Center is located at 416 S. Madison St. in Rockford, and is open 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Please call 815-972-1135 to make an appointment or to request additional information.
