The Salvation Army Celebrates Donut Day June 3
The Salvation Army’s National Donut Day fundraiser is an annual tradition that began in Chicago years ago. Fundraising efforts focus on “tagging” throughout our area; taggers collect donations in the streets and in front of stores on the first weekend in June every year. This year we will be tagging June 3 and 4. If you miss our taggers, donations can be made online or by mobile phone.
Thanks to the generosity of Entenmann’s, we will be giving out donuts to people who donate this year! Each donor will also receive a car tag to recognize their contribution and support of The Salvation Army.
We are looking for a lot of volunteers! If you can spare a few hours of your time and are interested in helping us tag, please click here for more information. Help us “Do the Most Good” this summer by participating in Donut Day!
